Invisalign is the orthodontic solution that 3D-Orto works with. We are committed to transforming your treatment into a digital experience, perfectly adapted to your lifestyle:
Through the partnership with Invisalign, we provide you with the latest orthodontic solutions, customized to your needs.
The Invisalign treatment is an excellent solution for both adults and adolescents looking for a virtually invisible method to improve their smile.
Innovation and technological development make it possible to remedy almost any common problem of straightening and biting your teeth, from simple to complex – all without requiring a major change of lifestyle.
And thanks to a discreet blue dot placed outside the aligners for young people, parents can be sure that teenagers wear invisible aligners long enough to maximize the effects.
You tell us about your needs and expectations, we present you our services and the solution that would best fit your case. We are in this together, for any information you may require.
We make a 3D scan for every patient, in order to establish a treatment plan, and we set a timeline. This is where we really get to know you.
Your treatment coordinator walks you through all the possible solutions, advises you regarding a financial plan that you find satisfactory, and shows you the final result. You can pay for your treatment in installments, because being financially accessible is one of our priorities.
After your treatment plan is approved, the aligners are created. Every set of aligners is unique, following the patient’s needs, according to the 3D rendering from the scanning process. Every set of aligners is to be used at least 20 to 22 hours per day. You get a new set of aligners every week of every two weeks, depending on the treatment plan. Every new set of aligners help your teeth migrate a little more, until you reach the smile you’ve always dreamed of.
We are digital first, so you get a dedicated mobile app – Dental Monitoring, which allows you to easily monitor your evolution and progress in real time. Here is where all your documentation is, and also where you get information about the maintenance of your aligners or the oral hygiene you need to keep during the treatment.
.
Definitely. In addition to the digital application through which you can monitor the evolution of your treatment at any time, you can also make appointments in the clinic. We work flexible hours and adapt to your schedule, because we understand what an active lifestyle or a busy schedule entails.
For any questions, information or additional inquiries we are at your disposal throughout the entire treatment.
Yes, the aligners can be detached. However, it is recommended you wear them for at least 20 to 22 hours a day, to ensure maximum efficiency.
When eating and brushing your teeth, the aligners should be removed.
How do I clean my aligner?
To clean the aligner, the Invisalign cleaning system is available to you digitally, but also through your doctor. The aligners can be washed with a toothbrush and toothpaste and rinsed with water at room temperature. Hot water is not recommended for cleaning them – it can damage the plastic from which the appliance is made.
If I have food scraps like blueberries or ketchup when I put the aligners in my mouth, will it stain?
Yes. That is why it is important to clean your teeth after every meal, before fixing the aligners back.
I dropped my aligner in an unhygienic place. Do I have to sterilize it after I clean it?
Yes. It is very important to always make sure that the aligners are clean and hygienic before putting them in your mouth. Invisalign cleaning crystals keep the aligners clean, hygienic and transparent – they even remove plaque in 15 minutes.
Please do not use hot water at any time to clean the alignments – this could deform the plastic.
What do I do if I lose or break an aligner?
Tell your doctor immediately. Your doctor will work with you to make sure you stay up to date with your treatment plan, which may involve wearing a previous set of aligners, the next set of aligners, or ordering replacement aligners.
Can I order Invisalign aligners directly from the company?
All aligners and retainers must be ordered through your Invisalign doctor, as they are considered a prescription. Please contact your doctor directly if you want to order a replacement.
Just as efficient, but faster, painless, more aesthetic and comfortable.
Will I have to wear a retainer after finishing the treatment to prevent the teeth from moving again?
Most doctors recommend that any patient who has completed orthodontic treatment, either with a classic brace or with Invisalign treatment, use a retainer to prevent the teeth from gradually moving back to their original position. Each case is different, so please ask your doctor if you need restraint agents.
What type of retainer should I use?
Although there are several different types of retainers, we recommend Vivera® products. Vivera retaining elements are virtually invisible and are made of a patented material, 30% stronger than other transparent retaining materials, which helps you keep your new smile.
Vivera retention elements will be custom made from a tooth scan, using the same state-of-the-art technology used for Invisalign aligners.
